Think Local First: Apex ‘Roof n Clad’Think Local First: Apex ‘Roof n Clad’

The roof, being perhaps the most important part of any building, needs to be in good shape to provide protection to the rest of the building.  Providing a top quality product on time and within budget is the Apex Roof ‘n’ Clad commitment to their clients.  Apex Roof ‘n’ Clad specialises in long-run roofing for residential, commercial and farm/utility buildings.  The company has been built on high standards of workmanship delivering longer lasting quality roofs.  Being there when they say they will be, ensuring there are no hidden costs, providing a high quality finish and working to high safety standards are how the company works to meet its commitment.

We visited Apex ‘n’ Clad last year and quite a bit has changed since we first caught up with Managing Director, Jacob (Jake) Tomason.  The company has been on the move – literally.  Not only have they moved to new premises, business has expanded so much that there are now 12 full-time staff as well as numerous sub- contractors.  In fact a full time manager has been employed to enable the company to keep up with the workload expansion demands.

2015 will see them focusing on new builds and commercial roofing.  Increased Health and Safety training has been undertaken to this end, with an emphasis on working at heights. Building long term relationships with builders and building companies is important to Jake as he focuses on growing the company while ensuring the Northland public continue to receive excellent service.

Jake and his crew pride themselves in being locally owned and operated.  In March 2015 they will have been servicing Northland from coast to coast for four years.  Because of their size and versatility Apex Roofing ‘n’ Cladding can often meet deadlines on jobs that other companies may struggle to do.  In fact business has been growing so much that they will be recruiting for new roofers in the New Year to join the team.  Jake is thankful to the clients and staff who support the business and help make it a success.
