G.J. Gardner Homes Named ‘Most Trusted Brand’ By Reader’s DigestG.J. Gardner Homes Named ‘Most Trusted Brand’ By Reader’s Digest

According to independent research commissioned by leading consumer magazine, Reader’s Digest, G.J. Gardner Homes has been named as ‘one of New Zealand’s most trusted brands’.

Commissioned by Catalyst Marketing & Research, the research asked more than 1200 Kiwis to identify the most trusted products that dominate their lifestyles and hold their all-important trust with G.J. Gardner Homes taking the top spot for home builders.

Grant Porteous, the NZ Master Franchisor for G.J. Gardner Homes, says: “We’re extremely pleased with the independent research results and it backs up the fact more New Zealander’s have trusted G.J.’s to build their home over any other builder for the last 17 years.”

“G.J. Gardner Homes is a network of locally owned businesses that are driven by good old-fashioned family values, integrity and honesty.”

“Trust plays such an important role to enjoying a home-building experience as it provides people with the assurance of knowing they are creating a home they really want.”

Reader’s Digest Australasian Editor-in-Chief, says: “It’s the brands which continue to offer quality and substance that hold our trust.”

“The New Zealanders surveyed were asked what makes a brand trustworthy. The results show they back brands that: provide a premium quality at an affordable price; make life easier; have integrity and stand out from the competition; and create a strong emotional connection with the consumer.”

Porteous concludes:  “What really sets G.J. Gardner apart is we want to make building a new home an awesome experience with no regrets.  To hear people say they trust
our business above and beyond our competitors is the best reward we could ask for.”

In Whangarei, 2015 has delivered some fantastic growth in the number of new homes
being built which clearly indicates that now is a great time to be building in Northland.

Northland’s G.J. Gardner Homes managing Director Peter Butler says “for us, June and July have been record months in terms of new home sales with 17 new build contracts signed - it is going to be a busy time coming up!”

“There is a real confidence at the moment in Northland in both the new build and existing housing markets. The overpriced Auckland housing market is having an impact, with many people choosing to move North for the housing affordability and the low interest rates making borrowing just that much easier.

Over the past 4 years G.J. Gardner Homes has seen year on year growth in terms of the number of homes built and market share.  Peter Butler says “Being Whangarei’s No1 Home Builder is great, but it only comes about through a lot of hard work and commitment from our staff and team of over 50 local suppliers and subcontractors. We are proud of our team and the values that we hold as a business which are to treat people well, be upfront and work with integrity.
